A COVID-19 Vaccine Study is Now Enrolling Volunteers in LA

Vaccines End Pandemics — let’s find one together

Help STOP COVID-19

About the Study

The Lundquist Institute, in partnership with the National Institutes of Health and AstraZeneca, is conducting a study on a COVID-19 vaccine developed by Oxford University and AstraZenaca.

Our study is the last step in testing prior to FDA Approval. If the findings show the vaccine is effective, it will be licensed and developed for widespread use to prevent illness resulting from COVID-19.

There is 100% certainty that study volunteers will not contract COVID-19 from the vaccine, as the vaccine does not contain the live virus.

HOW TO JOIN

Certain communities in Los Angeles have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19--and we want to help them. Our priority is to enroll adults in the study who do not have a documented history of having the virus and are at highest risk of either getting COVID-19 or of suffering more severe illness if they do get the virus, including those who are in any of the below groups:

People with medical conditions

(medical conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, lung disease, and obesity)

People of Color

People age 60+
